Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS)

Background-

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), funded by the Australian Government, plays a vital role in providing companionship for older people living in aged care homes or living in their own homes and receiving or waitlisted for a home care package.

✔With the support of the government, Active Community Group & Australian Senior Connected Care are authorized to vigorously promote this volunteer visit program.

✔Visits are for seniors receiving home care packages (HCP).

✔Through this program, we provide emotional and friendship support and care for the elderly, meeting their needs for companionship and friendship seeking to reduce loneliness and social isolation.

We hereby set up the "We-V-Visit" and carry out a recruitment to gather energetic volunteers in the community together to achieve the goal of "volunteers come to your home, and give love and care for the elderly"; Provide visitation services in response to elderly need to be cared for, and serve the society wholeheartedly.

How to join?

This year, the AUSCC caring visitor team reached out to around 70 seniors. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers for their unwavering dedication and generosity. Your support has enriched the lives of many seniors and strengthened our mission.

If your family members, friends, or seniors you know are feeling lonely or in need of support and care, we warmly encourage you to refer them to us. We also welcome new volunteers to join our caring visitor team in achieving our goal. Together, we can meet the needs of seniors and contribute to building a caring community.
